What is Gateway Decathlon?

The Gateway Decathlon is a two-year, design-build, multi-staged, multidisciplinary competition with a primary focus on innovative housing design and construction. This competition involves teams of students led by faculty members and industry partners who collaborate on projects related to housing design and construction. It is an exciting opportunity for multidisciplinary collegiate teams to showcase their skills in designing and building innovative housing units. The overarching goal is to foster creativity, innovation, and sustainable solutions, with a specific emphasis on industrialized or off-site residential construction methodologies.
